How do we rate the Best Gaming PC
Gaming consoles have become quite powerful, and we expect even better specs with the coming PS5 and Xbox 2. Unfortunately, it’s hard seeing any of the two gaming consoles match the qualities of a proper gaming PC. PC gaming is simply superior, and we stand to be corrected when the two highly awaited consoles are released, but even if they were to be more powerful, it probably wouldn’t be for long. That’s because gaming PCs are getting upgraded with the best graphics card so often making them capable of handling even the most demanding of games. Simply put, if you want to get the best experience of any type of game like say Sekiro, Division 2 or Resident Evil, you stand a better chance gaming with a PC rather than a console. This is not just based on how smooth the game will run, but you can also utilize some of the best 4K monitors with crazy refresh rates to minimize latency while also delivering mind-blowing images. This might just be what you need to dominate even the most competitive multiplayer games.
The only thing limiting you when it comes to gaming PCs is your budget. You can get powerful PCs capable of handling pretty much everything that’s been released and even upcoming games, but then the price tag becomes the major limiting issue. For instance, the Corsair One i160 Gaming PC rocks the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, Intel Core-i9-9900K, 32GB of RAM, 2TB storage and up to 480GB SSD. These specs allow the PC to run your high-specs games in ultra 4K while supporting up to three different displays with VR and NVIDIA G-Sync but then you will have to part ways with around $3400. And if that isn’t expensive enough, you can try to get the Digital Storm Aventum X which can cost up to $4000! While most of these high-end gaming PCs are absolutely worth every penny, the fact remains that not a lot of guys can afford to spend well over several grands on a PC alone.
The good news is that you can still get a couple of good gaming PCs at more affordable prices. Even better, you can decide to build a gaming PC with the specs of your own liking and determine how well the PC will perform and look and decide the ultimate price of the PC. This is a very popular approach at the moment and some us would even argue that you’re likely to get more value for your money by building your own custom gaming PC than buying a prebuilt one.
In this review, we’ve tried to include greats PCs at different price points to make sure that you get something that is within or close to your budget.
What’s the Best Gaming PC?
The best gaming PC today is the iBuyPower Trace 9230. This PC blends decent specs at a very reasonable price, making it a great buy for a lot of people. It is powerful, it looks really cool, and it’s also future proof, thus making it a good investment for now and the foreseeable future.
Here is a rundown of all our top picks:
iBuyPower RDY ELIBG207 (Intel i7-9700K)
Going for around $1500, the iBuyPower RDY ELIBG207 is far from being the cheapest gaming PC in the market. However, the cheapest gaming PCs are never really that good because they offer entry-level specs that are barely capable of handling graphic-demanding games. In addition to that, with a cheap beginner gaming PC, chances are you will find yourself heading back to the market in search for better graphics card or a better PC altogether a few months down the line. It’s, therefore, more sensible to save up and spend a considerably larger amount of cash on a PC such as this to get the immersive gaming experience you deserve for the longest time possible.
The RDY ELIBG runs on Intel Core i7-9700k octa-core processor, and the Intel Z370 Express Chipset stacked with the GeForce RTX 2070 8GB graphics card. It comes with 16GB of RAM, 1TB in storage capacity, and an additional 240GB SSD. What does all this translate to?
With the powerful processor and 16 gigs of RAM, the RDY ELBIG can smoothly handle different games at their Ultra settings and high resolutions. Running games at 1080p or even 1440 shouldn’t be a problem at all. You may only start to feel like the PC is struggling when you start gaming at 4k. The Liquid cooling will also make sure that overheating is never an issue, thus allowing you to game for longer.
The massive RAM doesn’t just improve your gaming experience, but you will also witness massive improvements on the read and write performance of the PC making multitasking and performing different computing functions smooth and super fast. The 1TB storage should also make it easy to store your massive games and 4K videos.
Other than its performance, the RDY ELIBG also scores very well in terms of looks. The PC features a Tampered glass RGB case so you can see one side of the PC. The vibrant RGB colors create a really amazing atmosphere.
The RDY ELIMBG comes with a keyboard and mouse. Although they might not be as incredible as the best gaming keyboards and mouse, they still perform pretty well. Besides, you won’t have to worry about spending extra cash on the two accessories after splashing $1550 on this big boy.

Dell i5675
The Dell Inspiron 5675 is a $1000 gaming PC delivering an excellent performance worth every penny. This PC features the Intel Core i7-8700 (six-core) with an Intel Turbo Boost, GTX 1060 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM, 1TB storage and 128GB SSD.
The Intel 8Th Gen Core i7 delivers superior performance ideal for fast gaming and lots of multitasking. This is further enhanced by high memory, making your every-day gaming, multimedia entertainment, and even light video editing a breeze. Through the GeForce GTX 1060 video card, you’ll enjoy richer graphics and the fact that it also supports Virtual Reality is highly appreciated.
The Dell i5675 has a unique design that makes it look really cool while also facilitating efficient airflow for excellent cooling. The interior designing is also really well done, and Dell has taken extra care to minimize noise output. You shouldn’t hear anything more than a silent hum while gaming. It’s also fitted with polar blue LED lights to elevate the mood.
We’d also like to mention how well Dell has designed this PC to make upgrading it in the future an easy task. The PC offers 460W PSU, four bays for storage upgrades and one PCLE x16 expansion slot. This means that you can upgrade on this unit when better components are released instead of having to invest in a completely new PC.

CyberPower PC Gamer Xtreme VR
The CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR is a decent choice for anyone who is looking for a decent prebuilt gaming PC while on a tight budget. If you’re not interested in building your own PC, buying this system is sensible even though you would probably get slightly better specs if you built your own PC for around the same price.
The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR is powered by the 6-Core Intel i5-9400f, an Intel B360 Chipset and fitted with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB graphics card. It runs on 8GB of RAM with 1TB of HDD and 120GB SSD.
The 9th gen Intel i5 and the GeForce graphics card can handle most of the common games really well. Through DirectX 12 and Windows 10’s API, you should enjoy better graphics, more frames per second, and efficient energy consumption. However, the specs of this particular PC won’t perform as brilliantly as you’d want when it comes to more demanding games like say Cyberpunk 2077. That’s not very surprising given the price tag though.
The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR comes with a custom RGB Case Lighting, 7-color RGB Gaming Mouse with three unique buttons (4000 DPI) and an ergonomic gaming keyboard with eight multimedia keys. This means that the PC isn’t just colorful and good looking, but you can also get down to gaming immediately it is delivered since all the accessories are included. Well, all except for a gaming monitor of course.
